Chevys’ earn roster spots with Provincial 15U Team

SUMMERSIDE | The Summerside Area Baseball Association is proud to announce that four of its members have earned spots on PEI’s top roster for their age group.

Jacob Dunn, Owen Lynch, Cody McCormack, and Declan Campbell all recently made the final roster for Baseball PEI’s Provincial 15U team this season.

All four players are members of the Summerside Bantam “AAA” Chevys this season which is being co-lead by Provincial 15U head coach Rob McCormack. Also on the staff acting as assistant coaches are former Chevys, Blair Creelman, Matt Barlow, and Joe McInnis.

It’s great to see players & coaches from Summerside being able to contribute to Baseball PEI’s provincial teams, and we couldn’t be more proud of their development that was reached with hard work and dedication.

The Provincial 15U team will represent Baseball PEI at the 2019 Baseball Canada Ray Carter Cup (National 15U Championships) in Oshawa, ON from 22 – 25 August 2019!

The squad will play a partial schedule in the Baseball PEI 18U “AA” League as well as several tournaments and exhibition games, in preparation for the Ray Carter Cup.
