The Summerside Area Baseball Association hosts its annual "Opening Day" every June. It's a sure sign summer is here. The idea was thought of and crafted by Gary Barlow, a 15-year board member some odd years ago. The day is fun-filled with games beginning in the morning at Queen Elizabeth Park and running right throughout the day with select feature games under the lights. We invite the entire community out to celebrate the official start of the baseball season in Summerside!
