GAME ONE RECAP: Jayden MacLean Drives In Five To Seal Summerside U22 Chevys ‘S Victory Over Western U22 Mariners:

Jayden MacLean was clutch at the plate with runners on base on Sunday, driving in five on two hits to lead Summerside U22 Chevys past Western U22 Mariners 16-4 on Sunday. MacLean drove in runs on a grand slam in the first and a single in the second. Western U22 Mariners scored four runs in the third inning, but Summerside U22 Chevys still managed to pull out the victory. The offensive onslaught by Western U22 Mariners was led by Chandler D, Dawson S, and Brayden H, who all drove in runs. Summerside U22 Chevys got on the board in the first inning. Summerside U22 Chevys scored one run when Logan MacDougall singled. Ben MacDougall was the winning pitcher for Summerside U22 Chevys . The pitcher went two innings, allowing zero runs on one hit, striking out four and walking one. Parker Gallant threw three innings in relief out of the bullpen. Alex M took the loss for Western U22 Mariners. Alex allowed five hits and 11 runs over one-third of an inning. Summerside U22 Chevys smacked one home run on the day. MacLean went deep in the first inning. Summerside U22 Chevys collected eight hits on the day.  MacDougall and MacLean each racked up multiple hits for Summerside U22 Chevys .  MacLean and MacDougall all had two hits to lead Summerside U22 Chevys .  Summerside U22 Chevys didn’t commit a single error in the field. Duncan Picketts had the most chances in the field with seven. Western U22 Mariners tallied five hits on the day.  Chasse G and Chandler all collected multiple hits for Western U22 Mariners.

GAME 2 RECAP: Summerside U22 Chevys Takes 5-3 Victory Over Western U22 Mariners

Summerside U22 Chevys beat Western U22 Mariners 5-3 on Sunday. In the first inning, Western U22 Mariners got their offense started.  Garrett C hit into a fielder’s choice, scoring one run. After Summerside U22 Chevys scored one run in the top of the seventh, Western U22 Mariners answered with one of their own.  Summerside U22 Chevys scored when Dylan McCormack drew a walk, scoring one run. Western U22 Mariners then answered when Chandler D singled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run. Summerside U22 Chevys pulled away for good with four runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth Logan MacDougall’s sac fly scored one run for Summerside U22 Chevys and Duncan Picketts singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run. Dawson McCormack earned the win for Summerside U22 Chevys . The fireballer lasted three innings, allowing three hits and two runs while striking out one. Ben MacDougall threw four innings in relief out of the bullpen. Connor E took the loss for Western U22 Mariners. The bulldog went five and a third innings, allowing four runs on three hits and striking out nine. MacDougall went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead Summerside U22 Chevys in hits.  Summerside U22 Chevys was sure-handed in the field and didn’t commit a single error. Parker Gallanthad the most chances in the field with six. Western U22 Mariners tallied nine hits.  Connor, Garrett, and Chandler all collected multiple hits for Western U22 Mariners.
