Dear Chevys,
Like you, we are continuously trying to find new ways to connect and overcome these unprecedented times.
We want nothing more than to be at our ballpark with you all, smiling and sharing laugh’s all while enjoying the smell of a Chevy Dog. However, for now, we must continue to follow the leadership of our Government and Dr. Heather Morrison by practicing social distancing, washing our hands and staying apart so that hopefully, we can be together in the near future.
Our Summerside Baseball team is working hard to plan for the upcoming season and preparing for any challenges we may face due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We have been keeping in close contact with our partners at Baseball Canada, Baseball PEI and the City of Summerside. We want to assure you that we are doing everything we can to give our members a baseball season this summer. We understand that the season may not be ideal, but we are aware of how important it is for us to plan and prepare so when the time does come to return to the field, we will be ready.
In saying that, we want to continue to think positively and engage with you, our members who we miss dearly. Starting this Monday, April 13th we will be allowing our membership to REGISTER for the upcoming season. We are NOT collecting payment at this time due to the on-going unknowns surrounding the Coronavirus, but with such a large scope of things to get done before a baseball season can start, we wanted to get the most important thing checked off the list!
Finally, we ask that you join us in keeping baseball within your thoughts while recognizing that this is bigger than baseball and bigger than sports as a whole.

Summerside Area Baseball Association (SABA) is the governing body of minor baseball in Summerside, Prince Edward Island, and surrounding communities and has been growing the game since 1981. It is Baseball PEI’s largest association with 300 + players registered per season. SABA offers Baseball opportunities to children 4 years of age up to 18 years of age.
